Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini reportedly appears on official Samsung website

Yesterday, photos were posted to Twitter revealing the Galaxy S4 Mini. However, another image was posted to Twitter today reportedly revealing four Galaxy S4 Mini model listings on the Samsung support website.

Italian publication Android Caotic (source below) reports that the GT-I9190 is the standard Galaxy S4 Mini model while the GT-I9192 is the dual-SIM version. The GT-I9195 is reportedly the LTE variant and the GT-I9198 seems to be a model being made for China.

This, of course, has not been confirmed by Samsung, so it’d be best to treat it as a rumor for now. On the other hand, it would be highly possible that four Galaxy S4 Mini models exist considering Samsung often makes multiple models for different markets.

According to SamMobile, the Galaxy S4 Mini is expected to have a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD 960 × 540 display with a pixel density of 256ppi. It is also said to have a 1.6GHz dual-core processor and is running the latest version of Android, 4.2.2.

Samsung’s Galaxy S4 to have exclusive TripAdvisor integration

 

Samsung normally has one exclusive app on its flagship phones. Last year it was Flipboard on the Galaxy S3, and it seems this year it will be TripAdvisor. TripAdvisor, the extremely popular travel website, will have its app pre-loaded onto the Samsung Galaxy S4 in addition to having the app integrated into some of Samsung’s own apps like the Travel Widget.
Samsung’s Travel Widget will showcase TripAdvisor photos from a number of popular travel locations around the world. Touching the on-screen star will save that photo to the TripAdvisor app and tapping the photo will bring up a list of information, such as reviews, photos, opinions and contact info.
In addition to having quick access to travel information via the Travel Widget, user can opt to have a beautiful slideshow of travel photos when the Galaxy S4 is locked. It’s a great way to show off travel locations on the beautiful Full HD display. It appears that TripAdvisor will also be integrated into Samsung Story Album.
City Information is a feature in Samsung Story Album that will give you a more immersive photo experience by pulling in TripAdvisor travel content to match photos a user has in any Story Album. In other words, TripAdvisor will provide enriched information inside of Story Album.
TripAdvisor also has now added exclusive features to its app. Users can now enable the Single Sign-On option, which will allow you to use the app with a Samsung ID. Users will also be able to add information on hotels and flights straight into the phone’s Calendar app. Contact information for a hotel, restaurant or city attraction can now be retrieved from the Galaxy S4′s Contacts list as well.

Lawyer offers popefrancis.com to pope

If the media is to believed, the new Pope Francis is an extremely modest man.

Eschewing the life of palaces in Argentina, he lived modestly and even cooked for himself.

Such frugality, reticence, and identification with the poor of the world isn't often associated with lawyers.

Yet one member of Chicago's legal faith is offering up an act of generosity akin to just chatting with Mary Magdalene.

Chris Connors, spurred merely by religious whimsy, bought popefrancis.com in 2010.

He told the Chicago Tribune: "I thought that at some point in the near future that the names would get more relevant. Nobody names their kids Innocent anymore. And I thought it'd be great if a pope chose Francis after the great saint."

Still, Connors' gamble rather paid off.Actually, it would be a fine thing if "Innocent" made a comeback. I would feel so much more comfortable if the CEO of a new, secure social network was called "Innocent," rather than "Larry" or "Mark."

Oddly, though, unlike all those faithful who rushed to the fleshpot of GoDaddy in order to buy up any domain that was pope-related last week, Connors is not looking for even an ounce of flesh from the Church.

He's offering to put the domain on the pope's collection plate -- free of charge, of course.

Indeed, Chicago's Cardinal George has already deemed the gesture "delightful."

Connors admits that other people have already been in touch, brandishing 30 pieces of silver and more before his face.

Yet he insists that he wants to "give Pope Francis dibs first."

I wonder if some tasteful speculator has already bought popefrancis.xxx.
