Sprint Galaxy S4 apparently spotted at the FCC, global roaming support included
The Galaxy S4 models spotted at the FCC are the SPH-L720 and the SCH-R970. The first one is awfully similar to Sprint’s Galaxy S3 model number (SPH-L710,) while the latter could be the Galaxy S4 version heading to U.S. Cellular and Cricket. The two carriers also stock a Galaxy S3 version, model number SCH-R530.
What’s interesting about the Sprint model is that it will sport global roaming support. The SPH-L720 comes with CDMA, LTE, GSM and WCDMA 850/1900 support.
Obviously, we’re still waiting for most U.S. carriers to formally announce the arrival of the Galaxy S4. During its first Unpacked media event of the year, Samsung said the phone will hit stores in late April, and at the time we wondered whether U.S. carriers will launch the device around the same time with international mobile operators.
What carrier are you buying the Galaxy S4 from?
