LG Intuition update rolling out, users experiencing major problems

LG Logo aa 600pxVerizon Wireless and LG recently pushed out an update to the LG Intuition, which is also known as the LG Optimus Vu. It is causing some major issues to the device. The update keeps the device on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, so considering it’s not a major update, it may be wise to hold off on this one for awhile.
The LG Intuition isn’t a very popular device, so the lack of uproar isn’t shocking. Hopefully there is a fix in the works, but for now, users are having issues with constant app failure and errors. Not only that, but SMS isn’t even working right, and the Google Play Store isn’t even working correctly.
The update has messed some devices up so bad that users don’t even have the Play Store in their app tray. They can’t even connect to Google, which means that contacts are missing and won’t sync along with calendar data missing. Photos and videos have also been wiped out, which is especially interesting considering that updates never touch the SD card.
In other words, the update messes up the device pretty bad. With the amount of problems that the update is causing you would have thought that the problems wouldn’t have made it in the final build. After all, the update supposedly goes through a thorough testing process.
If an update pops up, we highly suggest that you avoid it for now. Hopefully Verizon and LG will have a fix for this madness as soon as possible. We’ll let everyone know when they do!
